We are now looking for two medical administrators for the Children’s and Youth Hospital in Linköping/Motala!
The Child and Women’s Center (BKC) is a regional production unit within Region Östergötland (RÖ).
The Child and Women’s Center consists of four clinics with operations at all hospitals in the region as well as smaller clinics throughout the county. BKC provides extensive regional and county healthcare. The center has approximately 1100 employees including doctors, nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, pediatric nurses, medical administrators, and social therapeutic staff. BKC provides clinical training for about 200 students each year, including specialist and exchange students. The center is ISO certified in quality and environment.
Our Offer
The Children’s and Youth Hospital in Linköping/Motala works with a clear patient perspective, focusing on children and families. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in pediatric medicine who wants to work in a team with the patient at the center. Our vision is “together for the best health of children and adolescents.” By this, we mean that we work together and strive to provide good, safe care and support on equal terms with respect for everyone’s equal value. Pediatric care is provided within two clinics, one at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping and the other at the University Hospital in Linköping/Motala. The operations include care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old. Within the clinics, advanced outpatient services are provided across all subspecialties, day care, and children’s LAH, as well as inpatient care including pediatric oncology, surgery, and intensive care for premature infants.

Job Description
You will have tasks related to documentation, booking, and registration in the region's data system, Cosmic. You will work closely with healthcare operations on various administrative tasks, in teams both within your own profession and with other occupational categories. You will participate in development and quality work both in healthcare operations and within your own profession. You will work closely with other staff and managers. We are actively working to develop the role of the medical administrator in the clinic and strive for the right use of competence.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained medical administrator. We value experience in the profession as well as familiarity with working in Cosmic. Good administrative skills and strong computer knowledge are required. We would also like you to have an interest in statistics and previous experience working with it. ITR training, education in statistics, and logistics are highly valued.
Introduction and Guidance
The introduction period varies in length depending on your previous experience. The workgroup supports each other in various questions.
You should have good communication skills and a professional approach. You need to be adaptable to different situations and have good collaboration skills. Application and Employment
The positions are for a permanent employment and a temporary position. Both positions have a start date according to agreement, and the temporary position is until May 1, 2027. The place of work will be Linköping and/or Motala. We work with ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
Within the Children’s and Youth Hospital, there is a shared staffing responsibility to ensure care for children and adolescents at all our units.
